Organization: European Central Bank Unlikely to Raise Interest Rates in 2026

BlockBeats News, December 11, CEO of asset management company Edmond de Rothschild Benjamin Melman stated that the European Central Bank (ECB) is highly unlikely to raise interest rates in 2026, "We do not believe this will happen." He pointed out that with Germany experiencing years of economic weakness and initiating a large-scale fiscal expansion plan, and France facing a difficult fiscal situation, such a rapid rate hike would be a "crazy move." According to LSEG data, the money market is currently not pricing in any rate hikes by the ECB in 2026.
