Surprising April jobs report sends Bitcoin rebounding to $97K

The U.S. added 177,000 jobs in April 2025, the Bureau of Labor Statistics posted on May 2. The figure is much stronger than the economists' expectations of 135,000 jobs. The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.2%.The strong April employment report led Bitcoin recovering to the $97,000 price level.This is a developing story.
