Prefer us on GoogleBlueBay Chief Investment Officer Mark Dowding pointed out in a report that if Federal Reserve Chair Waller abandons forward guidance, it will increase the risk of the market losing confidence in the Fed. Dowding stated that during the tenure of previous Fed chairs who implemented forward guidance, the institution enjoyed high levels of trust and credibility. If it falls into an information vacuum, market doubts may intensify, and trust in the Fed could also be shaken. He mentioned that the current level of U.S. debt has reached a historic high and is growing at an alarming rate. If a laissez-faire attitude is taken towards market trends, a sudden loss of market confidence could pose significant risks.
