Nic Carter: The "Four-Year Cycle" concept is outdated, and creating real value has become the new harsh challenge
BlockBeats News, November 16th, Founder of Smart Contracts and Co-Founder of Castle Island Ventures, Nic Carter, stated that it is not ironic to say that the market situation in 2025 will be "worse." Although some bad things also happened in 2022, cryptocurrency was the center and focus of all events. The price drop can be attributed to the catalysts that we are destined to overcome. Nowadays, cryptocurrency has become the forgotten child, and artificial intelligence and the seven giants of the U.S. stock market are the protagonists. Retail investors' focus is on data centers, quantum computing, and rare earth stocks. The downward trend of cryptocurrency is not due to any catalyst but simply a result of a weak market, lack of attention and buyers, and the aftermath brought by the long-standing poor performance of Distributed Autonomous Technology (DAT).
Does this mean that everything is over? No, it's just that concepts such as the "four-year cycle" and the "alternative investment season" are outdated. To make money, you must truly create value, and this is a daunting challenge for many.
