National Conference on Electric Power Engineering Cost and Quota Management: Actively Explore the Innovative Application of Frontier Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc., in Cost Management
BlockBeats News, December 28, 2025, the National Electricity Engineering Cost and Quota Management Work Conference was held in Beijing on December 26. An Hongguang, member of the Party Committee of the China Electricity Council and full-time Vice Chairman, fully affirmed the achievements of the electricity engineering cost and quota management work during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period in his speech. He combined the transformation and breakthrough tasks in the energy and power sector in the "15th Five-Year Plan" blueprint to put forward three requirements for the next step of work: Firstly, we must make forward-looking arrangements to promote the organic integration of the quota system between traditional electricity and emerging formats, and build a quota and cost standard system that is compatible with the new power system. Secondly, we must actively explore the innovative application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain in cost management, build a cross-domain and cross-entity cost data sharing mechanism, and accelerate the digital transformation of cost management. Thirdly, we must play a bridging and bonding role, gather multi-party consensus and joint efforts, and jointly promote the stable and far-reaching development of the electricity cost and quota management cause.
