Elliptic Secures Investment from Circle Ventures

Blockchain analytics firm Elliptic has announced that it has secured an investment from Circle Ventures, although the specific amount has not been disclosed. This investment follows Elliptic's completion of a $120 million Series D funding round in May, which was led by One Peak, with participation from Nasdaq Ventures, Deutsche Bank, and the British Business Bank. Circle Ventures is also joining Elliptic's Agentic Design Partner Program, which aims to bring together infrastructure providers, compliance leaders, and technology teams to collaboratively develop cutting-edge agent compliance solutions. Elliptic stated that bots have driven a significant amount of on-chain activity but operate under rules written by humans; AI agents, on the other hand, are increasingly setting their own goals and acting based on their own judgment, at a scale and speed far exceeding the design capabilities of human compliance systems.
