0G Partners with Nanyang Technological University to Invest SGD 5 Million in Establishing Decentralized AI Research Center
BlockBeats News, November 10, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore and decentralized AI infrastructure company Zero Gravity (0G) announced a joint investment of 5 million SGD to establish a Decentralized AI Technology Research Center. The center aims to advance blockchain-based artificial intelligence innovation and build a more transparent, secure, and verifiable AI system.
This is 0G's first collaboration with a global university. Research directions include decentralized AI training, blockchain integration, model alignment, and Proof of Useful Work (PoUW) consensus mechanism. The research center will, through an open ecosystem, support developers, institutions, and the community to participate in verification and auditing, driving AI from closed to open and transparent.
The project is set to run for four years and will include workshops, hackathons, student scholarships, and open-source projects. The first batch of proof-of-concept results is expected to be released within two years and applied in fields such as finance, healthcare, and smart infrastructure. Previously, 0G had received over $325 million in funding commitments, including a $40 million seed round led by Hack VC.
